Even MSNBC forced to admit numbers don't support 'gun control'

A great story about information on Control Control from MSNBC who is no friend to Gun Rights Advocates. A must read for anyone who follows gun rights issues.

The Coffee Party says they are not uncivil like the Tea Party

More on the Coffee Party.

They are actually trying to position themselves as a group who will get together in these little jam sessions and then decide for America what we really want. The most distressing thing to me is how they are buying into and perpetuating the idea that the Tea Party is now uncivil, violent and racist. Am I the only one who is wondering where they are getting their money from. Tea Parties just kinda happened, people showed up, with hand made signs and a message. These guys start up one day, and they got a website, leadership, Logo's and online tools. They even have their own marketing materials. Curious, so am I? One thing is for sure, this group is filled with people who call me a "Teabagger" and have no love for the Tea Party Movement. I'm going to keep my eyes open on this one, I suggest you do the same.

The Tea Party movement is not the same as the 60's Hippie Radicals but it's close to the Freedom March.

I am not an official Spokesman, there is no real spokesperson for the movement. I'm really tired of seeing us trashed by the media. In my opinion from I'm seen and witnessed as long as I've been involved with the Movement.

  • The Tea Party is made up of real Americans.
  • We love our Freedom and our Liberty.
  • We love our country.
  • We do not apologize for the U.S.A
  • We are sick and tired of Big Government.
  • We do not envy Socialism.
  • We want to solve our nations problems as much as anybody, but we are not willing to trade any more freedom to do it.
  • We do not care about Party
  • We will back Politicians from any party as long as the stand on their values, swear to protect and defend the Constitution and will not allow laws to be passed that go against it.
So far to date no Tea Party has gotten violent. The idea that we are all violent and hateful racists is very exaggerated. If you have any questions about this, go to one and check it out. There will be a bunch coming up soon on or around April 15.

After you check it out, ask yourself if the treatment in the press is warranted. Then think back or open a book if you need to and compare Dr. Kings Freedom movement to the Tea Party. The Media and Most Politicians had a very negative perception of him and his marchers. One paper actually said, "they were paving the way to violence".

Things that make you go hhmmm.

Cheers,

Mike

Health Care Reform

Now that we have Health Care reform I think it's time that we get reform for Life Insurance and Auto Insurance as well. For to long now those insurance sectors have been screwing the American People over by not allowing us to buy insurance after we have wrecked our car or after a loved one has passed away. It's only fair, that we eliminate these restrictions on pre-existing conditions in all areas of insurance.

It's also not fair that they inflate their rates for young drivers and those who have banged up a few cars. They sit back and collect all those greedy profits by using these deceptive business practices. Life Insurance Companies charge huge premiums for people who have a history of Cancer and if your spouse happened to have already passed away before you had a chance to buy insurance, they will leave you out in the cold.

It's really about time our Congress does something about these situations. Americans deserve better.

Cheers Comrades,

Mike

Immigration reform now!!! SEND THEM ALL BACK HOME!!!!

I'm glad there will be an immigration reform on Capital Hill Sunday, I hope INS attends. Can you imagine how much better this country will be if we can have real Immigration reform. Fewer illegal immigrants taking jobs from Americans. People who can actually speak English. A strong border protected by force with fear of death.

Wait, what did you say? Those knuckleheads want to give illegals amnesty. WHAT! They are ILLEGAL!!! How does that make any sense at all? What's next, murder reform, rapist reform? Murderer and rapist amnesty where all who commit these crimes can have the slate wiped clean.

How do people even justify this? I say we need to fix the system by making it tougher not more lenient. This country was made great by immigrants who came in through the front door. We need more of that and much less crawling in through the sewer while refusing to learn our language and abide by our laws.

Cheers,

Mike

Coffee Party

Well I'll be honest, it sounds like this Coffee Party is a trendy way for Moderate Liberals/Progressives to make it sound like they are more of the solution than the problem. Cooperation in Government sounds good, but we are where we are because of COOPERATION over the last several decades. What makes the Tea Party so unique is the fact that so many people who previously would not use their voice are now saying loud and clear, WE DO NOT WANT YOU MOVING TOWARDS THE MIDDLE!!! WE WANT YOU TO STOP AND MOVE BACK!!!

If this Coffee Party Group is smart enough to realize that Government working together means that the Democrats need to work with Republicans and Libertarians instead of blocking them from the process than I might be willing to listen, but if this is just another group saying the Republicans need to stop being the party of NO, than I wouldn't give them any of my time. Many of us are supporting the Party of NO concept because that is what we want. We want NO MORE of the Liberal Agenda being forced down our throats while being told we will smile and like it.

I agree with those who say our political leaders need to be brave! they need to be brave and vote NO! That's the brave thing to do. Listen to the people and not the threats of Pelosi or Emanuel. Be Brave, and start over with a real solution to the problem.

Cheers,

Mike

Let's pass Health Care without even voting on it.

If you're like me and you've been wondering how our country has become so convoluted here is a live example in current time. Members of our Congress like Nancy Pelosi are actually talking about passing a major piece of legislation without even requiring a vote. Yes, you heard me correctly. Passing a bill without an actual vote. Where is that in the Constitution? One of the things our founding fathers went into great detail over in the Constitution was how a bill becomes a law, and they always require a vote.

U.S. Constitution Article 1 Section 7

"Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a Law, be presented to the President of the United States; If he approve he shall sign it, but if not he shall return it, with his Objections to that House in which it shall have originated, who shall enter the Objections at large on their Journal, and proceed to reconsider it. If after such Reconsideration two thirds of that House shall agree to pass the Bill, it shall be sent, together with the Objections, to the other House, by which it shall likewise be reconsidered, and if approved by two thirds of that House, it shall become a Law. But in all such Cases the Votes of both Houses shall be determined by Yeas and Nays, and the Names of the Persons voting for and against the Bill shall be entered on the Journal of each House respectively."

The Slaughter Rule would pass the health care overhaul through the House and potentially avoid a direct vote on the Senate bill by dictating that the Senate version of the bill is automatically passed through the chamber once the House passes a corrections bill making changes to it. In other words they vote that they agree on making changes but not whether or not they want to pass the whole bill.

This is what our country is coming to? Forget Health Care, if this goes down you can write the constitution off, it's game over for our free society. It will mark the end of the American Dream. Our Children s Children will have no idea what that means when our Government can decide when and how to pass any regulation it sees fit.

Cheers,

Mike

Stop the CFPA

Stop the CFPA

The House has passed legislation to create a massive new government agency to regulate consumer financial products. This new agency, the Consumer Financial Protection Agency (CFPA) would have unprecedented powers and authority to determine the types of financial products consumers can choose from. In fact, the bill extends far beyond traditional financial services products to a vast majority of the economy – in short creating a new regulatory overlay over the entire business community.

The U. S. Chamber supports more effective consumer protection that is centered on ensuring consumers have access to clear and concise disclosures about risks posed by financial products, and on weeding out the fraudulent and predatory actors.

This bill grows the government, putting new restrictions on consumer access to products, reducing choices among products catered to the needs of individual consumers, and driving up the costs of these products by making it more expensive to develop and offer them. It even goes so far as to dictate and require “plain vanilla” products, assuming federal bureaucrats know what is best for consumers.

Lastly, the bill is a direct affront on the privacy and security of consumer financial information. The CFPA would have unchecked authority to request and hold account information from financial institutions – including information regarding the type of account you hold and your balance.

Government Jobs Pay Good These Days

What happened to the old principle that Public Sector Workers make less since they receive great Benefits that far exceed what most in the private sector receive? How is it that all the latest reports show that the median difference between Public Sector jobs and Private sector jobs is now $11,000.00. That's a large difference for people who work for the public. Is this an accident? I don't think so. Pro Government politicians know it's always hard to reduce the size of government and it's nearly impossible to cut their pay. So the more highly paid bureaucrats there are the better for those who only want to grow the size of Government.

This also helps those same politicians gain support at election time. Who's going to support the person who wants to cut your pay or eliminate your job. If the Large Government Liberals and Socialists can grow the size of government to a point where it along with Union Labor exceeds that of the private sector, it will mark the end of Liberty in the United States of America.

Can you imagine, a country where kids grow up dreaming of getting a Government job instead of running their own business or working up to leading a strong successful company. I'm not talking about Policeman or Fireman but Bureaucrats. Can you imagine, Does Billy want to run his own business? NO, he wants to work in the office of Labor and Statistics. It pays a six figure salary and has life time benefits along with promotions on a regular basis that are only based on length of service and require no exceptional work his behalf.

Pretty sweet deal, don't you think?

Cheers,

Mike

Van Jones Loves Glenn Beck

Van Jones proclaimed he loves Glenn Beck while receiving a reward from the NAACP. He then proclaimed that we should all get along and be one country. The only problem is that I for one do not want anything to do with the country Van Jones envisions.
