Just days after the August jobs report showed zero growth, President Obama unveiled his idea for a $450 Billion jobs bill. He's calling for Congress to pass this bill right away. The bill includes the usual suspects, more spending on infrastructure and schools (using their code word investment). It's exactly the kind of thing you would expect to hear from a CCCP party leader from the 1960's. But the scariest part of his suggested plan is a further cut to the social security tax paid by employees and employers to 3.1%. That tax had already been dropped to 4.2% from 6.2% and is scheduled to return by the end of this year. All while our Social Security system is already falling short of cash and GOP presidential candidates are taking heat for calling it a ponzi scheme.
HELLO!!! Does anyone remember the Stimulus plan, $750 Billion dollars. That didn't do jack, but now President Obama is calling for another immediate $450 Billion to make an impact by the end of the year. Does this make sense to anyone? (Besides the folks at MSNBC or the Huff Post/Daily Kos) Our Economy is in the toilet because our private sector is stagnant, not because the Government isn't spending enough money. Until they relieve the private sector from unnecessary and burdensome regulations and taxes, the economy is not going to improve. Job creators will not invest if they have no idea what to expect in the near future.
Of course many already suggest that this plan is just one more pawn in the the Washington Political game since Obama knows the House will likely not move forward on such a plan. He's banking on the Hope that many will put their reelection in front of the demands from constituents. Only time will tell but John Boehner has already proven himself weak and cowardly so I have no doubt Obama's plan might work after all.

The president just said that he is moving forward to build a system for prolonged detention that is not currently legal. His words, "A new Frame work" Needs to be built.

After watching these videos you must ask yourself, what did they expect Barack to do exactly?

President Obama is a good speaker, whether he uses a teleprompter or not. Much of his speech tonight was the expected Rhetoric with a softer tone than his last SOTU. Missing from this years speech are the comments suggesting that he inherited the mess from the last guy. Also missing from this speech was any mention of removing our troops from the Middle East. New this year were comments suggesting that he is ready from more free market participation, but this is a far cry from his actions so far during his first 2 years in office.
He made a comment about need for simplified Tax Code. Maybe he's thinking Fair Tax? Yeah Right!! He also promised us that 80% of the Nation will have access to High Speed rail. How exactly will this happen? I'm not sure where he got the idea to include this in his SOTU address but it's a pipe dream, it's simply not possible, not while he's in office. High Speed rail is so expensive and so hotly disputed right now he couldn't make good on a promise to provide 6 major cities high speed rail much less 80% of the Nation.
The tone of this address shows that President Obama realizes he is being watched closely. He acknowledges we are listening to him and paying close attention to his actions. Now it comes down to what he will actually do. Will be continue with the global interventionist policy both parties have adopted? Will he allow for more free market competition?
Only time will tell. (But I'm not holding my breath)
ATTENTION!!!, Corpse Men, we need some Corpse Men right away.
Our President has declared that there will be Hand to Hand combat if the GOP takes over after the 2010 November election. This sounds dangerous, there may be injuries. So we need some Corpse Men straight away because it looks like the GOP is probably going to kick the Democrat Party square in the face in November.
Seriously, we know President Obama doesn't know the difference between a Corpsman and Corpse Men so are we to believe he even knows what Hand to Hand combat means? Well he does have SEIU President Andy Stern to the White House on a regular basis so it's safe to assume he might know a thing or two about bare knuckle fighting. Could it really come to this?

Two Men, Two different approaches, Same Goal. Win the Hearts and minds of the masses by starting with the young. Every tyrannical regime in history has used this technique in one form or another. The left will tell you Children singing and chanting Obama songs, and pledging to be Obama Scholars is harmless? Where were the Bush songs of praise? Have school children ever sang songs in school about a specific sitting President?
This is not a great man who did great things, he's a man who still can't find a solution to plug a hole and keeps blaming Bush for every major problem. A man who has failed to deliver one promise after another and who is now facing a population that is turning on him, yet there are some still urging children to chant praise. Why? I'm sorry but before I chant praise for somebody they had better have split the Red Sea, or at least done something that will shape history in a positive way. President Obama won a Nobel Peace Prize, for doing NOTHING!!!! They even said it was for what he will do. Can you imagine? Hitler and Mussolini were great men back in the day, Time Magazine Men of year. Can you imagine if they would have given Hitler a peace prize, for the good he was going to do? Opps! What message does this send the youth? Don't worry, you can have your award now, because you're going to be great! later!!!
I know I just graduated, and I've only been on the job for a few weeks but can I have a huge bonus now, because I'm going to rock in the future.
After listening to our Presidents speech on the Oil Spill I have nothing but fear in my heart on what is coming. He made it clear, his plans are to remove any shred of freedom that remains at the MMS by implanting a new Oil and Mineral Czar. He is also going to stop off shore oil production for 6 months. Anyone want to guess what this is going to do to the price of oil? This is just more of the same from a man with an Agenda. He is going to use this as the ramp to get to cap and trade by making the argument that only with more regulation and taxes can we fix our energy crisis. Does this make any sense?
We are on that road Hayek wrote about and I for one am looking for a path less traveled. Who's with me?
431,000 new jobs just reported. President Obama has said this is a positive sign that our economy is getting stronger even while he admits that many of those jobs were Census jobs. Yes, Census workers, temporary once every 10 years, Census jobs. The very same jobs that most people are doing on the side and in addition to whatever they normally do for a living. The very same jobs that we keep hearing are being over exaggerated at every opportunity. In fact not just many of these jobs, but 95% of the 431,000 jobs are Public Sector jobs.
Even more disturbing the current report also shows all the construction jobs from new construction that we picked in April were lost in May. So now the Construction industry is worse off than it was before, during the time of year they usually are ramped up and in full swing. With this information at hand, 431,000 temporary government jobs and an unemployment rate of 9.7% is supposed to blow up our skirts and make us think the economy is getting stronger. Really?
This begs to ask the question, does the average person realize public sector jobs are paid via tax dollars? Does the average American realize that with our current debt, every new job within the government can only add up to one thing? Which is? Higher Taxes of course. Every single person working for the government is only costing the country more each and every day. Now I'm not suggested that we eliminate ALL of these jobs, obviously we need public workers to keep things working. But do we need to keep hiring temps to help count the people?
At this point our nation would be better off if they hired no new Government workers at all even if it means higher unemployment. Of course Obama can't allow that to happen because then he can't continue making the claims of a successful stimulus plan and a growing economy. What are they going to do in June, higher even more census workers? How many people are going to list Census Worker as their primary occupation on their 2010 income tax returns?
Our Government has opened an official probe looking into BP, A criminal probe on BP what about a probe on Obama & Sestak? Am I the only one who is asking this question? They created an official probe to look into BP's liability on the oil spill but not on whether or not our Commander in Chief committed a felony. Now there is another guy a Democrat Andrew Romanoff of Colorado, claiming he was also offered a job if he didn't run for office. Sounds like politics as usual from the guy who promised America he was going to run the most open and transparent administration ever. I don't know about you all but I'm ready to try on my "Impeach Obama" bumper sticker.
Today our president shared some more of his insight on the American way of life. I'm sure I'm not the only one who picked up on this but I can't help but share my thoughts. He said,
"I think all of us recognize that we cannot have a circumstance in which a meltdown in the financial sector once again puts the entire economy in peril, and that if there's one lesson that we've learned it's that an unfettered market where people are taking huge risks and expecting taxpayers to bail them out when things go sour is simply not acceptable."
Am I the only one who would like to know what unfettered market he is speaking of. The definition of unfettered is free or unrestrained. Is there such a thing as an unfettered market anyone? Can anyone think of a single business, industry or sector that is not controlled, or regulated by the government. Liberals like to say Republicans deregulated the banks which caused much of our problems but really there was no DEREGULATION. Not real deregulation, it's not like the Federal Government ever wiped it's hands and said, "Ok now you guys can do what ever you want how ever you want". They simply loosened it up and bit. It's still the guys in Congress who wrote the rules they were required to follow. It's still Washington that made it possible for the funny business that went on.
Now Obama thinks that the American people are dumb enough to believe this simply because he said it. Possibly even more disturbing is the part of expecting taxpayers to bail them out. Is that really how it went, those companies came knocking on the door demanding to be bailed out. I think many of us were screaming to let them fail.
Obama called for fee's on the banks to recoup "Our" funds from the bailout. These fees are to be collected by the IRS. This begs to ask what fees do the IRS collect? Are those not taxes? Secondly, why are these fees being collected by banks who did want to take bail out money in the first place and who have already paid it back with interest. If the money is paid back, what additional fee can or should we collect from them? And why is President Obama calling for a tax when our constitution clearly gives the power to tax solely to the Congress?
Another important question we need to ask is why are we not collecting these fees from Fannie May and Freddie Mac as well as GM and Chrysler who have not paid back the funds and have little chance of ever being able to pay it back? Many of us on the right said those organizations should have been allowed to fail in the first place. We also said this bailout would essentially amount to the government taking them over but were told by the left that this was crazy. On Christmas eve the Congress lifted the Debt ceiling on both Fannie and Freddie.
Last week on 1-5-2010 Barney Frank said, The two mortgage lenders are essentially a "public policy instrument of the government,".

Even after Fox News and other pundits have hammered the president over his promise of opening the Health Care negotiations all we get is an hour of coverage. They opened the talks to 1 hour and have now closed the remaining talks. Senator Russ Feingold was nailed on this by many of his constituents from the very Blue state of Wisconsin. Some of his constituents were actually questioning the constitutionality of the Health Care reform being proposed. Nancy "Laughing in our Face" Pelosi actually laughs at the idea of fulfilling Obama's campaign promise of open debate on CSPAN.
We knew this was coming, well some of us did. Now they are watching on Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites. Beware what you post if you're concerned about them coming for you. If you believe as I do, post what will and wait for them to come....
I guess it's too much to ask that the leader of the free world to break away from his busy agenda to celebrate the fall of communism in Germany. Could it be that maybe he doesn't feel there is anything to celebrate? Why can he stop on a dime and fly to Copenhagen but he doesn't feel the need to attend a celebration of democracy? A democracy that would not be if not for the efforts of the United States.
Some people have raised questions about Obama's decision not to travel and suggested whether it's a nod to Russia or just another attempt to play down the perception of U.S. dominance as a superpower. If that's the case I agree with Newt Gingrich, it's tragedy! The U.S. is sending a delegation led by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. President Obama acknowledged the anniversary last week when he met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
This is the same man who traveled to Germany to campaign. He went there to get applause but he won't go to help them celebrate freedom and liberty. It's a shame it's a dam shame. I'll bet any day now he supports Chavez in warning Columbia that a conflict would their own fault.
President Obama said that Democrats think for themselves and Republicans all take marching orders. If that isn't the kettle calling the pot black I don't know what is. Now I'm not saying that all Dem's are Liberal and all Repub's are conservative but most people would agree that most Dem's are Liberal and Most Repub's are Conservative. Anyone who understands the mind set behind the typical liberal and the typical conservative knows the truth is the other way around. It's hard to get a room full of conservatives to agree because they usually have their own opinion. That said most conservatives would agree we have too much government involvement in our lives. On the the other hand most Liberals will follow their fellow comrades over a cliff to the nearest protest against Bush, hell most will follow you anywhere if you tell them it's good for the Democrats and bad for the Republicans, and most will tell you how much better everything will be once the government is in control of everything.

I think it's funny how many of of us have been saying for a long time now that Obama is playing the game by the Rules for Radicals playbook and only now are some other media outlets starting to get the idea we were right. If the president can go on a full frontal assault onto a news organization, what's next? What happens if one of the so called real news organizations follows one of the crazy stories Fox covers? Are they next?
I'm glad Barack Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. After all he has ended the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He's closed Gitmo. Then he single handily forged peace in the middle east and rid the world of all nuclear weapons.

Obviously I'm not the only one who's writing about this so I'm going to keep it brief and to the point. When did they start giving the Nobel Peace Prize away to people who talk about peace? Is it really that meaningless now. I guess Al Gore did get one for making a movie about a theroy so who knows. The Nobel should not be an award for good effort like a smiley face sticker on your 3rd graders math test. Our president has not even completed a whole term yet and he hasn't actually done anything for peace aside from TALK about it.
Gitmo is not closed. Our soldiers are still dying in action. Muslims still hate Jews and Jews Still hate Muslims. Many nations including ourselves still have many nuc's. Democrats and Republicans are still mortal enemies.
But in Obamas defense I guess it would be hard to actually have done any of those things in the 12 days he was POTUS when the deadline for the Nobel Prize came in February. At least the Presidents speech was humble, he did question himself whether he deserved the award.

Michael Bechloss once told Don Imus that Barrack Obamas IQ was so high it's off the charts. When Don asked him what Obamas IQ was, he admits that he did not know the actual IQ. Many others since then have made similar claims about how clever and wise our great leader is and more importantly how much more intelligent he is than Bush. Well I'm going to pose a few questions for all to consider.
If Obama is so smart why did he not know about ACORN getting so much money?
How did he not know about Van Jones being so radical?
How did he not know about the Tea Parties?
He sat in Rev. Wrights Church for 20 years but he didn't know how radical he was.
He did not know that the deal he received from a huge contributor Tony Rezko was much better than normal.
Also he forgot that he made a promise to use public financing for the general election if his Republican opponent would do the same, oops.
He traveled to Copenhagen with 2 Jets to cheer lead Chicago for the 2016 games not knowing that Chicago was the least favorite choice of the IOC .
The smartest person ever to be President of the United States forgets and doesn't notice an awful lot.
I don't have enough time to post my thoughts on every single issue that makes me go WOW! so instead I'm going to begin WOW posts, to summarize some of my thoughts over a period of time. This is the beginning of my WOW reviews.
Where do I begin, it seems every time I watch or listen to some news these days I can't help but just think, WOW, what is happening to America? Health care is either in the bag or has no chance or passing? Our Commitment to protect Poland, the Czech Republic and some of the surrounding countries is now a dead deal, or mostly dead. We'll give them some vague assurances that our Ships will stay in the area and we might give them an antique missile system that we know is useless against Russian missiles, but it's gesture. Then there is the unknown threat of Iran. And this is the most we can do for them, because Obama thinks he can get Russia and others to reduce or discontinue their nuclear arsenal. All I have to say about this is good luck. If Obama gets that done, I'll hang a huge Obama HOPE poster in my office.
Then we have the Health Care debate, or the lack there of if the Left gets it's way. Humana actually sent information warning it's customers of Possible Medicare Changes that could come from a Universal Plan. The Senators for reform take immediate action against Humana by have having the Department of Human Services send ORDERS, not a request ORDERS to end all similar programs and to remove any related material from their website. Not just Humana but all participating Medicare companies. Fascism anyone???
Then as if the Gag Order is not bad enough, the Senate Committee working on a Health Care plan actually is having to debate whether or not they should post it for the public to see. YES they are actually trying to get the bill out of committee with out allowing the American People to see it. The Senate Finance Committee debated for two hours today on an amendment which failed to pass that would have required the legislative language of the committees final bill, along with a cost estimate for the bill, to be posted online for 72 hours before the committee voted on it.
Instead, they passed a similar amendment to post online the "conceptual" or "plain" language of the bill along with the cost estimate. So they choose to dumb it down for us cus you no us folks dun know much bout thems fancy words and junk.
Sen. Olympia Snowe the Republican most likely to favor the bill, said the amendment represented a "practical, pragmatic good government approach" to legislating. "We should not be afraid of having a better and complete understanding of what we are all doing," she said. "The fact is, words matter, and so do the numbers."
Jim Bunning (R-Ky.), who introduced the amendment. "The devil is in the details. The way legislative language is written could have a large impact."
Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) said the amendment was "fundamentally a delay tactic" for a piece of legislation that must progress quickly at this point, if Congress hopes to get it to President Obama before the year is up. "Anybody who thinks that is going to be transparent to the American people is really not telling it like it is," added Sen. Kent Conrad (D-N.D.).
This is and has been taught in our schools for at least the last two years. I saw this on the Glenn Beck Show. It's filled with Liberal Anti-Capitalist & Environmental B.S. Not only are many of the facts distorted but some are flat false. And it's done in a happy cheery style that kids will enjoy. It's easier to understand than Al Gore's book An Inconvenient Lie. (Opps Freudian slip) And it's filled with even more crap.
Now the icing on the Cake. Children in public shools (A.K.A Government run schools)being taught to sing in praise of their great leader. Make your own mind up on this one but as you do, also consider how many songs kids sang in praise of President Bush. Then consider what other great regimes in the history of the world had government sponsorship with song in glorious celebration to their great leaders.
It seems that the Obama Administration is doing it again. More Change we can believe in. More Hope! Eastern Europe is now open to missile attack from Iran and Possibly China. This is of course another George W. Bush commitment that Obama has now changed. It seems he is more concerned with overturning everything Bush did than he is in actually improving conditions and safety in the world. In addition to this the news comes out on the 70th aniversery of the Russian invasion of Poland.
The administration is saying that this is an effort to calm Putins concerns over the system. That eliminating this system will improve chances of gaining Kremlin support for Nuclear Arms Control and assistance in Afghanistan. Does anyone believe that Russia is going to disarm? I mean really? Russia, rolling into Georgia with tanks and troops over some oil, RUSSIA!!! Are they going to sit back now, calm over the threat that little old Poland or the Czech Republic are over Russia and decide maybe that Obama guy is right. Let's get rid of our Nuc's. REALLY???
This is nothing more than a powerful Liberal President using his pull to push an agenda that most Americans and most Eastern Europeans do not agree with. He is bowing to Russia while allowing the growing threat of Iran to loom in the distance. In addition to this, it was just announced that he supports extending the Patriot Act. Scraping the Patriot Act was a campaign promise that garnered allot of support from his left wing base. Just more evidence that Obama is not the great unifying agent that many believed him to be. He is instead the gifted two faced smooth talking politician that many of us feared him to be.
I'm an ex- Liberty Organizer who's been taking a break while still being concerned about the state of affairs in our society today. I've been less politically active in the last couple years taking care of my personal life but it may be time to get back on the horse...
