The Gore-ical has spoken. The consensus was in and the debate was over. The Science is clear, how can the Climate Change talks be suspended? I guess there may still be some debate needed after all, who knew?

Climate Change Talks Suspended

WoW 4
Well now we have a convicted felon married to a U.S. Congresswomen attending State Dinners. I guess it makes sense since while he was in prison he wrote the manual for President Obama's success. Again, if not for Glenn Beck this issue probably would have never made it into the thoughts of millions of Americans. "Stand up Straight" by Robert Cramer reads like a handbook on how a progressive president can change America by 2009. It's interesting how all of the ideas in the book have been implemented by President Obama or the progressive left movement before he was elected. Just another piece of the puzzle to prove their is a hidden movement in this country.
Also this week we have Al Gore at it again claiming, "The anti-Climate Change Movement is at it's sunset". I think Al's been drinking too much kool-aid if he actually believes his opponents are about finished. In Copenhagen there will be yet another large showing of scientists who do agree with the man made climate change theory. And we find out that a piece of ice as large as the state of California was lost do to "Sensor Drift" . I guess the polar Bears aren't almost homeless after all. Of course Presbo also got in on the action during his Coppenhagen speech saying, "we all need to come together on climate change". You think that might have something to do with how much the U.S. and the rest of the developed world has riding on Green investments? If you know Al Gore you should ask him how much he has invested.
In China the communist regime has decided to crack down on the spread of Christianity when they kicked down the doors of China's first 50,000 member strong Mega Church. The Leaders are now in jail and the church has been taken over by government authority and is currently under guard. This is the very same country that owns a significant portion of our U.S. Debt. Just think whether you support this kind of regime or not you're helping to fun it each and every time you buy something with one of those little Made in China stickers.
I hope everyone had a great week.
Cheers,
Mike

My Take on Global Warming, Cooling, Climate Change WHATEVER!
I remember 6th grade and Earth Day, the first Earth day that was held in our school. Our Science teacher did a speech that the entire school has to listen to and we had a presentation done by some group I don't remember who, but the entire thing was geared up to teach us, to teach our parents and family to follow the 3 R's or by the time we were their age it would be another Ice age.
I remember that same teacher going on and on about how or environment was changing and it was all our fault. Now back then I let most of it go in one ear and out the other but I also started recycling. It wasn't until I was much older that I began to read about how little overall impact that recycling really had on a global scale. It was only a few years later when all of sudden we were struck with GLOBAL WARMING, and then Al gore wrote his rag.
By then I was already questioning how much Science really understood. After Al Gore wrote his book is when I started researching the topic myself and what I found was shocking. It turns out the science is not clear, at all. Many scientists in fact dispute the validity of Gore's book entirely. When Al Gore said the consensus was in, he must have forgotten the panel of scientists that were split almost 50/50 over whether or not Green House gasses were likely due to human influence or whether they were part of the normal global pattern.
Now I'm not a scientist or even a researcher, but I found enough information online, to feel confident that I have NO IDEA what's going on. The UN global warming conference in Poland faced a serious challenge from over 650 dissenting scientists from around the globe who are criticizing the climate claims made by the UN IPCC. 400 scientists spoke out at the very same event in 2007. so it grew by 250 + in one years time. UN IPCC Japanese Scientist Dr. Kiminori Itoh, an award-winning PhD environmental physical chemist said this, "Warming fears are the “worst scientific scandal in the history…When people come to know what the truth is, they will feel deceived by science and scientists." Nobel Prize Winner for Physics, Ivar Giaever is also a skeptic.
Now consider the story of emails that show Scientists actually collaborated to modify and hide data that goes against the idea of Global Warming. How does that make you feel? I know it makes me feel great, because I in fact have assumed for at least a few years now that we've been lied to.
You can find allot of information on this topic including links to other mostly reputable sites .: U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works :: Welcome :.

What is the real cost of a "Cap and Trade Act" Clean Energy & Climate Bill?
Even if we use the ultra low estimate of "a postage stamp a day or $170 a year", That amounts to $7000 per household by the year 2050. Many sources have confirmed that if the Act works it will reduce the climate by a few tenths of a degree by that same year. Does 7 Grand sound like a good deal for a few tenths of a Degree?
If the Heritage Foundations estimates are correct it could double the average homes electricity bill and increase gas bills by over 50%. That would be allot more than $7000 by 2050. These figures don't say anything about the job situation. The Obama administration would have us believe that Green Jobs are going to save us. What about the jobs we will lose when big Manufactures move out to avoid this new huge cap and trade expense?
This is the same exact plan Spain tried. It failed, badly. something like 1 in 10 jobs created in Spain were sustained. We would need to create a sustainable job for each and every job the U.S. is going to lose just to stay even. Since no one knows which companies will leave the U.S. there is simply no way to determine yet if this will be the case. This of course also mean there is no way to determine if we will grow jobs as President Obama has promised.
Cheers.

H.R. 2454 Climate Change & Energy Bill Passed, Shit!
This could be the most dangerous piece of Legislation (All 1100 pages of it) that has passed the house in a long, long time. The amazing thing that I still can't get my arms around is how many people are falling for it. Just like everything else of late it's a huge emergency. We need to do it right now or else.
Politicians have had the idea of Cap and Trade for some time now, it's not a new idea and they couldn't get it done before. Now the Congress and the White House are both controlled by Democrats and they're hiding the same Cap and Trade BS in a Climate Change Bill. A bill that does very little (2 tenth of a degree) if anything to actually help Climate Change. And that's only if you buy into the man made climate change theory, which has not been proven as of yet. There is plenty of evidence and many Scientific People who suggest Climate Change is a naturally occurring part of our planets life cycle. Add to that the data that show our planet has been in a decade long span of cooling, and it begins to scream that the science is unclear.
The effects this bill will have on us the American People, if it gets through the Senate are just as unclear. What is clear however is that we the Tax Payers are going to pay for it. How much it's going to cost is the real question. Some suggest that those costs will amount to a postage stamp a day. Some think it could literally double some of our Utility Bills. Either way, why is legislation being pushed through when there are so many unanswered questions? This is yet another fine example of legislators wheeling and dealing, doing what will benefit themselves over what will benefit us.
If you're concerned about this Legislation I would urge you to contact your Senators and make your feelings known.
