Media Bias

The level of propaganda, agitation, and outright falsehoods being told about the Trayvon case are off the charts.

Here is the picture that the Main Stream Media has been showing you for days now of Trayvon Martin (13 or 14 as pictured)next to George Zimmerman (Conveniently in the Jail Orange Jumpsuit)

I wonder if public perception on this case would be different if the media were instead reporting that Trayvon was actually on top of Mr. Zimmerman, beating him before the shots were fired and in stead showed this picture of the two side by side.

Republicans win New Yorks 9th District

The Democrat party holds a three-to-one registration advantage in the heavily-Jewish 9th district of New York. Democrats have represented the district for more over eighty years and President Obama won the district by 11 points in 2008. This didn't stop the Republicans from winning the seat recently occupied by penis flasher, Anthony Wiener. Bob Turner said, "We have been told this is a referendum," after defeating the Democrat Assemblyperson David Weprin.

But Obama's people are already out in force telling everyone that this is not a big deal, the New York 9th wasn't really that important. I'm sure the people in the 9th will also remember this when it comes to vote in 2012.

War Powers

So what is the War Powers Act? Is Obama Really violating It?

These are two questions that many are asking right now looking at the situation in Libya. The War Powers Act of 1973 is a federal law intended to check the power of the President in committing the United States to an armed conflict without the consent of Congress. The resolution was adopted in the form of a United States Congress joint resolution; this provides that the President can send U.S. armed forces into action abroad only by authorization of Congress or in case of "a national emergency created by attack upon the United States. The War Powers Act requires the President to notify Congress within 48 hours of committing armed forces to military action and forbids armed forces from remaining for more than 60 days, with a further 30 day withdrawal period, without an authorization of the use of military force or a declaration of war.

The resolution which was controversial at the time, was passed by two-thirds of Congress because President Nixon actually vetoed the law.

President Obama is facing a swell of bipartisan criticism for continuing military engagement in Libya without congressional approval. Even supporters of the Libya intervention have complained that the administration is skirting the law. President Obama defends the legitimacy of the Libyan operation. On Wednesday, he submitted a report to Congress arguing that his administration is not in violation of the War Powers act at all. White House argued that the United States’ “constrained and limited operations” in Libya “do not amount to hostilities” because the United States doesn’t have or intend to place soldiers on the ground and has not sustained the casualties typical of such hostilities.

This despite the fact we know American Boots are on the ground, even if they aren't wearing uniforms.

In side stepping Congress, Obama has overstepped even the precedent set when President Bill Clinton bombed Kosovo in 1999 when the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel asserted that Congress had given its consent by appropriating funds for the Kosovo campaign. It was a big stretch, given the actual facts but Obama can't even take advantage of this same desperate expedient, since Congress has appropriated no funds for the Libyan war. There are a lot of questions that remain out there and members on both sides of the aisle are looking for answers, even if they have legally met their requirements under the War Powers Act which I think remains to be seen.

The White House has some wack ass Niggas

But don't take my word for it take the word of rapper Common who recently performed at the poetry night as an invite by Michelle Obama. I'm sure there are at least a few people who would agree with me that this is not the kind of role model we need but John Stewart tried to defend him by pointing out that this man is friends with Elmo on Sesame Street. I don't think hanging with Elmo cleans his reputation, I think it begs to ask, What is Elmo doing hanging with such a wack ass Nigga?

This also begs to ask, why did Common even go to the White House? I thought he didn't like being around wack ass Niggas in Shirts and Ties.... Wierd...

Yeah

Politics of Giffords shooting

“They need to deftly pin this on the tea partiers,”

The Media in general did not even wait a day to begin their analysis on the thoughts and intentions behind the shooting in Arizona. Worse than the media analysis was the willingness to report on the opinions of the Sheriff and others who wanted to tie this in with the Tea Party and Sarah Palins "targeting" of Giffords in last Novembers election. Much of this was openly shared as opinion and not at all based in fact, but was reported and shared nonetheless. Also interesting are the facts that are not being openly reported or shared.

Even more disturbing is how many people are quick to jump on the hate bandwagon. Sarah Palin as usual is a favorite target, (Pun intended) as evidenced by new groups popping up like the Kill Sarah Palin group "If you want that bitch to die join up". The Tea Party and those who share many of the same beliefs are being used as the whipping boy in the aftermath of this tragic event. Regardless of the motives for the shooting it is clear that Jared Loughner is deeply disturbed.

Either way you look at the situation the relentless attempts to make his actions out to be slanted right or left are sickening. Everyone needs to take a step back and consider that the actions of a disturbed individual are just that, disturbing.

Update (1-10-2011 11:20PM)
Facebook has removed the "Kill Sarah Palin Group" Thank you to all those who helped report the site and it's Admin. Hopeful everyone who joined that site will have a few eyes on them for awhile.

NPR does it again "Juan Williams fired!"

Juan Williams fired!!!

Many of you know I have a love hate relationship with NPR, but now they have gone and done it. Firing Juan Williams is just one more example that NPR has no interest in honest reporting of news but rather the force feeding of an agenda. If Juan Williams cannot share his views without fear of being fired who can? Juan Williams is far from a right wing conservative drone. He's a man who has written several books and been on the air a long time. There is plenty of evidence to show Juan Williams is not a black racist, he's not a staunch conservative talking head or person who allows his views to be swayed but an American who shares his opinion on the issues of he day. Sometimes you agree with him others you might not, but you always get the sense of the place he's coming from.

If Juan Williams isn't safe, who is?

Think Progress most recent Propaganda Video

Think Progress (George Soros) funded and released this Tea Party Racism Propaganda video last week. Pay special attention between 7 seconds and 9 seconds where the white man admits he is a racist, followed by a 1 second blip of a women holding a sign thanking god, for Glen Beck (Glenn is spelled wrong). This photo has nothing racist about it, it's simply a shot of a women who obviously is a strong supporter of Glenn surrounded by shots and video of what appears to be clear racism being supported at Tea Parties.

Now Glenn clears up some of the confusion. Pay close attention between 1:20 and 2:20 where we see the edited clip of the White Nazi racist.

Think Progress is clearly looking out for America.

Obama just can't get it right

Our President has done so much to make us question his true intentions that even when he does something seemingly good it leaves room to question his genuine motive.  He announced his intention to come up with a way to make congress vote on measures to cut spending.  This is supposed to make it possible for he and future Executives to reduce ear marks and pork but is it?  Or is this really just another ploy?

President Obama is the first President to have his V.P. lay the wreath in the National Cemetery on the tomb of the unknown soldier while still actually in the United States.  G.W Bush of course was in France in 2002 on official meetings.  Obama did this so he could go home for the Holiday.  This upset a lot of people so to make up for it he planned another ceremony at the cemetery in Elwood, IL.  At first glance this seemed like an acceptable solution, but then he cut it short due to rain.  Our troops deal with rain, snow, sleet, heat and hell in order to protect freedom but our President canceled his speech and suggested the crowd take cover in their cars from the on coming storm.  Appropriate?

Now this one is good, President Obama has literally tried every trick in the book with this BP oil spill.  Now don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming him in any way, even though I don't like the way he pointed his finger so soon and so adamantly at BP from the very beginning.  I'm not suggesting that there is anything he has done wrong yet,   The man is surrounded by yes men and he's got his media buddies and hard core liberal base salivating at the chance to stick it to BP.  The only problem is, BP is actually trying everything they can think of to fix the leak.

Now we've got a Washington Post Columnist writing a story suggesting that Obama's response is race related while Howard Fineman of msnbc.com says, "The politics of the disaster are Cajun hot, but Obama is cerebral cool".  Ok, I'm not even sure what that means or refers to but it's funny non the less.  I guess it's cerebral to point fingers while having no other ideas that might solve the problem at hand.  I'm going to make a prediction here.  Our president is going to allow BP to continue this until about August if BP still has not figured out how to stop the oil until there relief rig is ready Obama is going to swoop in and take it away from BP, just to show the world that he is taking charge, FOUR months later, when BP's rig is about to show up ready for installation.  I hope I'm wrong, but let's see.

Now Obama is going to visit with Jan Brewer of Arizona. I can't wait to see where this goes, more sure to come.

Mike

Greece Riots, Who Riots???

If you pay any attention to what goes on in the world you must be aware that Greece is in a debt crisis right now which has lead to riots in the streets. If you google Greece Riots you will find information and pictures that would lead you believe the whole dam country is about to implode. Fire bombs and destruction are the norm. The real question that no one in the MSM is asking, "Who is actually rioting"? Who is behind the riots and why?

If you dig a little deeper than the headlines you'll see phrases like "the workers", what they mean to say, are the unions. Labor Unions are the root source of the discontent fueled by those in the Communist Party of Greece. Yes, I said Communist. The Communists and the Unions are behind most of these riots.  The Unions in fact are supported by the Communists (KKE) one of significant parties in Greece.  They also have representation from the Coalition of the Radical Left (SYRIZA) The Majority Party right now in Greece is the  Panhellenic Socialist Movement or the PASOK.

Why is the MSM hiding this fact?  Well in short the United States is following Greece down the same path and many of the issues they're dealing with in Greece we're dealing with right here in the U.S.  Worse is that we have been and continue to institute some of the very same policies that these Greek Socialist and Communists have advocated for years.  These policies have led to a near total financial collapse along with violence and rioting in the streets.  Is this the direction we want to continue heading?

We know that in the past our government has used highly trained operatives to infiltrate other governments and push them in one direction or another.  We also know that our CIA has outright coordinated regime change.  Some of these stories range from common sense to complete and utter conspiracy theory.  How drastic these actions are or where is of no consequence as long as we can agree that "some action" was taken.  If we can agree that "some action", has taken place, are we to be as naive to believe the great United States of America is the only power in the world to use such tactics.  Are we 100% sure that no such action has taken place in our own nation?

Consider how many top level officials we have heard from recently agreeing with Mao, preaching the virtues of socialism, and speaking about the free market and capitalism as if it's dirty and disgusting.  Consider for a moment that Rasmussen did a poll showing  Only 53% of American adults believe capitalism is better than socialism and that survey found that 20% disagree and say socialism is better. Twenty-seven percent (27%) are not sure which is better.  Where did this come from?  how is that  a random poll shows 27% don't know?  A recent Fox News Poll asking, "Should the display of an American flag be banned if a school administrator feels that display could lead to fights"?  Shows a lean towards YES.

YES!!!  WHAT???

Now I believe this Fox Poll has been muddied by some group or organization but why?  Consider the only reason to do this is to give the image that most Americans actually believe our flag should be banned as if it's somehow a disgusting or evil thing.  Now ask yourself if you believe this?  If you believe that some group would go out of their way to slant what should be a clearly pro-American poll would they hesitate an attempt to influence others that a pro-American point of view or positive outlook on the American Way is wrong?  Is Ronald Reagan's point of view on American Exceptionalism really dead?

Just a few things to think about the next time you hear someone talk ill of the U.S. or of people who still love it.

Cheers,

Mike

Suze Orman "Financial Expert" in my amateur opinion!

I was listening to this “Financial Expert” Suze Orman on CNN the other day and some of what she said made me question her so I did some research to see what made Suze Orman an Expert. I wanted to see what she was all about. Her Wikipedia Page was very helpful but she also has a personal website with BIO info. It seems to me she has made a career for herself telling people what to do without actually having much financial experience doing it. It would also appear she has a strong Liberal Tendency which she is not afraid to share with her fan base. If a "Financial Expert" giving political opinion alone isn't enough to give you pause here is her resume in a nutshell.

• She is from South Chicago
• BA from University of Illinois in "Social Work" in 1976
• Waitress for 7 years in California
• Borrowed 50K from a stranger than lost it investing with Merrill Lynch, then Sued
Merrill Lynch to regain her funds with a claim she was scammed.
• This while training with Merrill Lynch to be an account executive.
• Worked with Merrill Lynch and Prudential for a combined 4 years before she went
on her own
• Started her own Financial advice Firm during the investment rich 1980’s
• Began writing books emphasizing Financial Help "for women”
• By 1997 moved solely into authoring Self Help and Motivational Speaking.
• In 1998 Forbes reported Suze Ormans credentials were not creditable. Ormans
Representatives claim her book publishers used inaccurate information without her
knowledge.
• She Moved to TV with PBS (Tax Payer Funded Television), CNBC and
QVC (Home Shopping Network)
• PBS has done specials on 6 of her 7 books
• Has been a host on Oprah several Times
• Announced she was a Lesbian in 2007
• Honored by Time Magazine 2008 & 2009
• Promptly honored By GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance against Defamation)

In 2004 Suze claimed to have created the terminology "good debt/bad debt" but as Inverstors Business Daily reporter Chuck Jaffee points out many articles in the 1990's used similar terminology including a few he wrote.

She has built a career for herself as a financial expert with 4 years of actual experience working in the financial industry over 2 decades ago. Since being a financial expert she has openly and publicly supported the campaign of Hillary Clinton and donated tens of thousands to the DNC. She then shifted her allegiance to Obama and stated in 2008 she believes the U.S Democratic Party does a better job of managing the economy and proposing civil rights issues. She also said she likes a lot of what she is seeing with Barrack Obama. She has since received an Honorary Degree from University of Illinois from all of her experience as a “financial expert” which I guess also qualifies her as an expert in education since She was asked to testify in the Senate Committee on Higher Education.

It seems to me she has more connections than anything else.

You decide.

Cheers,

Mike

Why Sarah Palin can't catch a break

Sarah Palin was treated like a sad little excuse during the 2008 presidential campaign and very few people came to her defense. Now, she is still being ruthlessly attacked by the media and her political opposition. If you look at facts given by her opposition it simply does not make sense. Sarah Palin had more political executive experience than Barack Obama. She's not stupid despite what folks at ABC or MSNBC might say and she has a real track record fighting for what she believes in. That last point is important to note because Barack Obama also had a verifiable track record fighting for what he believes. The difference of course if that Obama campaigned on a moderate platform that was not in line with his track record. His campaign was a smoke screen to steer folks to his side, now it's those folks who are asking themselves why they didn't listen and look more closely at his record. He didn't hide anything, he came right out and told the world where he stands in his speeches, his voting record and his books.

Some of Barracks own words;

“It’s not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they’ve got a chance for success too. My attitude is that if the economy’s good for folks from the bottom up, it’s gonna be good for everybody … I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”

"To avoid being mistaken for a white sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists."

"Judge me by the people with whom I surround myself."

Now this post is supposed to be about Sarah so, I'll get back on track.

Sarah Palin stands for something, she stands for everything the liberals detest. She is not trendy, she's not cool for school and she believes in God and Guns. Can you imagine, a white women who hunts is against abortion and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. A successful women who made it into a Governorship on her own. She's more like real Americans who work for a living. The establishment cannot allow her to gain traction or they risk losing the popularity contest as more and more Americans are going to watch the real Sarah Palin and realize that she is not the woman from Saturday Night Live.

What this amounts to is many of Palins opponents using their own opinions to steer the facts instead of allowing the facts to steer their own opinion. This is fine when openly expressing an opinion but when this is done in connection to reporting, well you get what amounts to a Keith Olberman or Rachel Maddow telecast.

Mike

Carl Cannon White House Reporter say, "We took sides"!

I mean really, They the press took sides. I had no idea. I mean I watched allot of the 2008 campaign coverage and It was clear that the media treated Joe Bidden the same as Sarah Palin. They covered how he might not be able to be a good father while performing the Post of VP. They also grilled him on his lavish wardrobe. And most visible was how they tested him at every turn on his historical knowledge. I was born in 1977 and I remember watching the coverage of the great depression on T.V. And I know Joe Bidden is much more brilliant than Sarah Palin.

If you believe the above ramble, YOU MIGHT BE A LIBERAL.

I think the coverage of last years campaign was a bright and shinny example of media bias. Anyone who thinks otherwise might have drank a bit too much Kool-Aid OOHHH YEAH!!!
If the mass media ever reclaims its honor I think it's fair to say that books will be written about how the media in 2008 was completely in the bag for Obama and the progressive movement. I fear however that glory days of subjective journalism are long over.

Obama Media Dying Down

President Obama in the last week has received some of the hardest questions I have heard asked of him since he was elected to the office. The Media is finally showing signs that what some have called the "Love Affair" may finally be coming to an end. We even saw an interviewer try and trap Obama by claiming President Bush's comments suggested his actions were treacherous. Even though these tricks are not very practical it's good to see that our president is finally being treated like a president and not just a high society social lite.

President Obama also today stepped up his language on the situation in Iran. Finally!!! I think he only did it because John McCain was getting very vocal on how soft he had been since the Iranian election. It's hard to imagine we elected this man as president. It takes 12 days of riots where peacefully protesters are bullied and beaten, a women is shot and possibly many more than reported are dead. To compare this to how Regan handled situations is really a joke.

Hot dog Diplomacy, Really!!! Regan is rolling in his grave.

IRAN

It's really frustrating watching what's going on in IRAN. The U.S. has been waiting for a situation like this for how long? Now we get it and our leader is treating it like any other day. No strong words, nothing. Surly no physical support. Now Iran is accusing the U.S. of interfering. OK, sure.

Another thing that is really grating on my nerves today, is all the protests here in the U.S. I'm willing to bet many of the same people who are now protesting for support of the Iranian situation are the very same folks who protested against the war in Iraq. People who said the Bush Administration killed Innocent women and children. If I'm wrong and all the protesters are really 912 members and Tea Party Folks, than I'll put a Obama bumper sticker on my car, but I really doubt this is the case. When will the bleeding heart idiots realize that you can't have it both ways. You can't liberate an oppressed people without the use of intervention. If you support intervention then you can't whine about it when someone gets hurts. Choose a side and live with the consequences.

I personally support the Iranian people who want real regime change. The problem is that we don't have enough information about the Iranian people to know whether those are in the majority of not. It looks that way on T.V. It's also curious that they have signs in English. It seems that they are asking for help. Or is it that someone wants it to appear that way.

At any rate it seems like the U.S. is not coming, thanks in part to Mr. Obama's lack of leadership and also a very jaded Liberal Agenda. Think about this. How is a Liberal Controlled Government going to come to the aid of Iran when they still cry about how Bush is responsible for Iraq. They are still blaming all of our problems on Bush. They cannot possibly go to the aid of Iran without losing face.

Mike

Obama to give "Friends with Benefits" new meaning.

Ok, so if your heterosexual you need to be married in order to gain benefits for your F*&k buddy, sorry I mean Husband or Wife. But now if your homosexual you can get benefits for your husband or wife, or F*&k buddy. Wait a minute, how does this work?

http://tinyurl.com/mzfw2h

This is a joke. Well really, it's not. This is real!!!

Forget protecting the sanctity of Marriage. We're going to open the flood gate and let anyone you have sex with get your benefits. Is this what Obama means when he said he was against Gay Marriage. He doesn't want to see gays marry, he simply wants to give them all the perks without the commitment.

People were worried that Gay Marriage would lead to folks marrying their dogs. Well I'm thinking it might be more serious than that. How many relations are we going to give the benefits to? Does it matter if a Government Employee gives 2 or 3 or 10 partners their benefits.

Hey Barack, How about we come up with a legal standard for all first, before we start handing out benefits. I'd like to see some kind of legally recognized union before we dole out more freebies. That said I don't think we need to jump to marriage, but let's get one issue resolved before we get into another. I can't see how this would help anything. It seems to me it would only adds complication.

Bill Mahr sticks it to Obama "This isn't what I voted for"

Finally we are starting to see some of the Liberals come out from under their rocks and admit that this Obama guy isn't what they thought he was. Bill Maher an Uber-Liberal has begun to speak out against Barack Obama's over exposure and his need to actually "do something". This is something that we have needed to see for awhile now.

I used to watch Bill Maher on Politically incorrect. I used to think he was funny. I think he slide farther to the left since then and now I can't hardly stand the guy. He's entitled to his opinion as every free American, but I think now, he's mostly just a crazy radical Left-Winger. That said him voicing his opinions now about BO is going to be positive for us over on the right side.

Teacher Tim Latham Fired

If a teacher can be fired for being to Conservative we have a real problem in this country. Well the problem really seems to be that so many teachers lean to left on most political issue. Why is that? I think it may have something to do with the heavy unionization of the teachers in general.

I think it's evident that we have a huge problem when during the last election cycle we heard story after story of incidents involving Conservative views being silenced. We heard the story of the Child who wore a McCain Shirt and was told to turn it inside out because it was causing a disturbance in class. We heard about the Students who debated with their professors, supporting the conservative side of arguments and then getting reduced grades. Now a teacher is not renewed. A teacher who was asked, "How can you support that women"? Referring to Sarah Palin. And told he simply didn't fit in here. The same teacher who was told his website was TOO patriotic.
(Does that mean his site had many links about the joy in paying taxes?)

Where were all the stories about students who got in trouble for wearing Obama Shirts? Where where all the stories of the students who supported Obama and received lower grades. Where was the evidence that our schools slant to right right side of the political spectrum? I remember Charming videos or Students Singing "Change" and "Yes we Can" in class and the Schools who supported this. I personally witnessed in my home town, Schools who had all kinds of Obama literature and stories posted everywhere. Missing were the stories about McCain.

As long as we allow our schools to indoctrinate our students we are going to keep moving towards total Liberal Control. We need to pay close attention to those who have a impact on the development of our Children. This does not just simply include the Grammar Schools and High Schools. You need to research the College your sons and Daughters want to go off to. The Universities are filled with this kind of indoctrination.

We need more teachers like Mr. Latham, not fewer.

Mike

Should health care be a right?

Today I heard an explanation of universal health care as a "right" that made me think. Those who believe Health Care is a right must then believe they own some part of someone Else's time and or income. If you are owed Health Care, someone has to pay for it. and someone needs to provide it. Do you follow me on this?

Those individuals who are going around gathering support for Health Care because it's a "right" need to have this explanation made clear to them. There is no such thing as free health care. Someone needs to pay and someone needs to provide the service. The people who think it's free simply don't understand this.

Maybe the taxes on all those greedy rich will cover it? Sadly I don't think there's enough wealth in the country to keep this one alive. I only hope we don't bankrupt the country before the Liberals realize what a mistake this is. I'm not going to hold my breath.

Cheers,

Mike
