Couples should be required to submit applications to have a child, she wrote in her "Plan for Peace." Birth Control Review, April 1932

"We do not want word to get out that we want to exterminate the Negro population"

Many claim this quote is taken out of context, they claim in context, that she did not want such word to get out because this mis-characterization of her work was common. Do your own reading from Sanger and be your own judge.

Mr. YouCut Won't Cut, really!!!

So the Majority Leader Mr. Eric Cantor who leads the "YouCut" Project Won't make serious Cuts, really!!! Apparently He's not interested in making large cuts that will really impact the bottom line. It sounds to me like a lot more talk and a little less action. The Republicans have shown a willingness to make cuts unlike anything we have seen in a long time but many are still are not brave enough to make the tough decisions needed to fix our economic situation. Mr. Cantor along with the following folks Kevin McCarthy, Kristi Noem, Committee Chairmen Dan Lungren, Hal Rogers, and Jo Bonner voted no on Amendment 101 to HR 1 otherwise know as the Blackburn Amendment which would cut an additional 22 Billion dollars.

There ares till many more amendments to go through so well where the cutting ends up.

Hateful Rhetoric is back in style

Only the left is allowed to use hate!!!

Daley wants one last chance to step on 2nd Amendment

Mayor Daley wants one more chance to tighten up gun laws in IL while he's still King. He has proposed legislation the would ban high capacity magazines and assault weapons. The legislation would also strengthen penalties for existing gun crimes.

The proposal also includes:

Requiring that a background check be conducted by the Illinois State Police prior to all private sales of handguns.

Requiring handgun dealers to be licensed by the Illinois State Police.

Banning “assault weapons” and high capacity magazines.

Requiring mandatory jail time of five years for a convicted felon who is caught with an illegal gun.

Enhance the penalty for pointing a gun at a first responder.

Holding a parent or guardian responsible for instances when they willfully put a child in harm’s way by bringing that child with them to commit a crime and the child ends up injured by gunfire.

Automatically transferring from juvenile court to criminal court certain juveniles who are apprehended for possession or use of a firearm.

Increasing the penalties for knowingly selling a gun to a minor or convicted felon.

Patriot Act with TEA Party Support

It appears the Patriot Act has been extended once again which I figured was going to happen. What I didn't expect to happen was to have so many TEA Party Candidates lead the charge. It appears two of the biggest names with TEA Party support, Michelle Bachman and Alan West also voted to extend the Act.

Walter Jones

And Ron Paul.

Consider for a second that all of the above voted inline with the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank and Henry Waxman. Sometimes the Democrats do the right thing even if it's for the wrong reasons.

Akbar Coup

So the Media is cheering for the great shift in power in Egypt, also known as a coup, when the military takes control. Usually when this happens, it's not a momentous occasion, but in the Middle East it's opposite land. When people in Iran rise up and protest against their controlling regime, the U.S Government sits on it's hands. But, when people in Egypt rise up in protest and the origins are unknown, the administration shows strong support even is it flips back and forth like a fish out of water. Why is the Media cheering this event so strongly? The answer is simple. Barrack Obama needs his own personal Berlin Wall. It doesn't matter if the protest leads to a genuine democratic government or not, as long as he can point to revolution during his watch it can be spun during the next 18 months in his favor. Even if the Muslim Brotherhood takes control, it's highly unlikely that will happen over night, so Obama and his administration have plenty to use as inspirational Hopey, Changy ammo leading up to 2012.

In the words of our own Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, "The Muslim Brotherhood is a largely secular organization". OH, wait a minute, Scratch that. After having his hand slapped, he now says that "Muslim" is simply an umbrella term pointing out that the Brotherhood has eschewed violence. Apparently he misunderstood the twitter post. Pay no attention to the history of the Brotherhood, the murders and executions or their assistance to the Nazis during WWII, they now claim peace, so of course we must believe them.

All I can say now is that I hope, I truly hope the people of Egypt stay stong and resist the temptation to fall in line with powers that will lead them down a worse path then the one they have just traveled.
