What is Keynesian Economics?

What Does Keynesian Economics Mean?

Investopedia explains Keynesian Economics
A supporter of Keynesian economics believes it is the government's job to smooth out the bumps in business cycles. Intervention would come in the form of government spending and tax breaks in order to stimulate the economy, and government spending cuts and tax hikes in good times, in order to curb inflation.

TRUTH has no agenda? or does it?

On Friday 3-25-2011 Glenn Beck featured the book "The creature from Jekyll island" on the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank (The FED) How is it that a whole show could be devoted to the FED and not even mention Ron Paul? How is it that you make reference to a Congressman trying to see the gold in fort Knox, but you never actually use the name Ron Paul? Please bear in mind that I am not a anti-Glenn Beck loon. I have been a huge fan and supporter of Glenn for the last 2 years. I own many of his books, I went to D.C on 9-12, I created a 9-12 group which I lead, I went to 8-28, I've been to the Bold and Fresh tour and I defend Glenn all the time. In addition to defending Glenn, I have also begun defending Dr. Ron Paul because everywhere I look it seems he's the only one with the answers. I've become aware, as have many others withing the TEA Party movement of a growing rift between those of us who understand Ron Paul and those who do not. Many have brought to my attention that Glenn Beck once called out Ron Paul supporters as terrorists. I've gone back through much of his material and come to realize that he is not a Ron Paul fan, but he must be coming to the same conclusion Ron Paul has already been for some time.

It seems to me many like to point a finger at Dr. Paul and accuse him of being crazy, much like they claim Beck is crazy. They accuse him of being a 9-11 truther and being of the mindset that America deserved to be attacked, neither of which are true but rather misunderstood, much like many of the truths Beck brings out on a daily basis are misunderstood. He talks all the time about looking for the truth and belief in the Constitution. Glenn Beck is single handily responsible for awakening an untold number to the power and strength of the U.S. Constitution and the history of our republic yet he can not even give credit to the one man in Congress with an unmistakable track record on the very principals and values he often speaks of. How is this?

TRUTH has no agenda? or does it?

Of all the names being thrown around as possible presidential
candidates, the name often left out is the one name who seems to have
the right answer on everything from free market principles to
abortion. From War Powers and limited government to the FED. How is
this, when TRUTH has no agenda?

Cheers,

Mike

Impeach Bush, or Obama ??? wait what ?

Biden: Impeach President for Unauthorized Attack

Vice President Joe Biden has a very clear idea of what should happen to a president who orders U.S. military forces to launch an attack on a foreign country without congressional authorization: impeachment.

With some voices saying President Barack Obama should face impeachment for attacking Moammar Gadhafi’s forces in Libya, a videotape has surfaced from the 2007 campaign trail showing Biden threatening to impeach President George W. Bush if he attacked Iran without the approval of Congress.

“I have written an extensive legal memorandum with the help of a group of legal scholars who are sort of a stable of people, the best-known constitutional scholars in America, because for 17 years I was chairman of the Judiciary Committee,” Biden said in an interview with MSNBC’s Chris Matthews on “Hardball.”

"I asked them to put together for me a draft, which I'm now literally riding between towns editing, that I want to make clear and submit to the United States Senate pointing out the president has no authority to unilaterally attack Iran.
“And I want to make it clear, I want it on the record … if he does, as chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee and former chair of the Judiciary Committee, I will move to impeach him."
He went on to say: “I think the best deterrent is for the president to know, even at the end of his term, we would move and move to follow through with that so his legacy would be marred for all time if he acted in what was clearly, clearly an impeachable offense.
“In the absence of that, what happens is, and you're going to think I'm joking about this — I'm not. If you're going to impeach George Bush you better impeach Cheney first. Not a joke.”

UNCUT TAPE: Former SEIU Official Steve Lerner Reveals Plan

This is how the left operates.

THREE IDEAS to destroy JP Morgan Chase. They must spread these three ideas to public.

  1. That we are not broke there is plenty of money
  2. They have the money, we need to get it back
  3. They are using Bloomberg and others in the Government as a vehicle to destroy us
Think about it, you may have already heard some of the lefts operatives using this, "We are not broke". You heard this in Wisconsin in direct opposition to the TEA Party message. Simply telling everyone that the state is not broke, will convince some, maybe enough to help sway the power back in their favor.

"We hope to inspire a much bigger movement about redistributing wealth and power in the country."

"As Frances Fox Piven and Cloward taught us, poor people movements are successful when they create situations of ungovernablity, and then you win victories"."

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the left is better at this than we are. They're not afraid to get in a room and hammer out these ideas. If you're not helping to build a network to combat this, you're essentially helping them win.

Wind Power, is it really the next big thing?

I keep hearing about wind power, and how this form of Green Energy is the next big thing. It's being reported that Wind Energy is going to produce money for schools and produce many well paid jobs. Is all this true? Did the United States invent this cutting edge technology? Actually no, wind power has been around for many years and it's use as Green Technology has been implemented all across the globe. With so much track record surly we can look to it's significant achievements around the world, right?

The facts are not as spectacular as you might think. First, wind power is still very expensive to produce. A modern coal plant of conventional designs produces at about 7.8 cents a kilowatt-hour; a high-efficiency natural gas plant, 10.6 cents; and a new nuclear reactor, 10.8 cents. A wind plant in a favorable location would cost 9.9 cents per kilowatt hour. But if a utility relied on a great many wind machines, it would need to back them up with conventional generators in places where demand tends to peak on hot summer days with no breeze. That pushes the price up to just over 12 cents, making it more than 50 percent more expensive than a kilowatt-hour for coal.

The following is an excerpt from an Investors Business Daily Editorial.
Scandal: Spain exposed the boondoggle of wind power in 2009, discrediting an idea touted by the Obama administration. In response, U.S. officials banded with trade lobbyists to hide the facts. Research director Gabriel Calzada Alvarez didn't object to wind power itself, but found that when a government artificially props up this industry with subsidies, higher electrical costs (31%), tax hikes (5%) and government debt follow. Fact is, these subsidies have the same "Cuisinart" effect on jobs as wind-generating propeller blades have on birds. Every green job costs $800,000 to create and 90% of them are temporary, he found.

Ok, so I covered the hidden costs of wind power, what you should also know is that there may be unseen health effects of wind power as well. Many years ago several industries have experienced unforeseen health effects, consider asbestos in manufacturing, and the chemicals used for years by workers which we now know cause cancer. Wind Power may not be a new idea but certainly humans have only recently been exposed to giant turbines whirling around at high speed. Some studies have shown that wind turbines create infrasound which is sound lower than 20hz or the normal range of human hearing. This is similar to UV light which cannot be seen but we now understand can have many harmful effects. Many farmers have reported GPS malfunctions when operating under the turbines and we have known for some time now that they cause issues with Radar used by flight controllers so is it really hard to believe that there may be more going on then we can see or hear?

The whole reason I prepared this piece was to give an opposing view point. It's easy in today's day and age to fall victim to the propaganda being forced on us by all the government agencies involved in selling this program or that program to the American people. I'm not saying we should abandon wind power but we need to make sure it's really a solution before we dive into it with reckless abandon falling for the same old lure of high paying jobs and financial resources for the children.

One last question I would pose is this. What happens to the turbines when they fail? All we need to do is look at the west coast, Hawaii, Spain and Canada to see the sea of derelict and abandoned wind turbines. Developers continue to resist the practice of posting bonds for the decommissioning of failed and obsolete turbines, even when the only reason to access these bonds would be in the event one is abandoned and left to rot. Most simply argue that this would never happen as these turbines are far too profitable to abandon. Words alone however and not enough to prevent these companies from going bankrupt and leaving behind dead turbines with tons of steel and concrete waste.

Mike

Hidden NPR Video

If you heard about the Hidden Video that led to the NPR head to resign, you really should watch it. It's so much more than just the fact that they call TEA Partiers racist and Major Newspapers Zionist. They posed as members of a Muslim Brotherhood Front Group who wanted to to donate 5 Million Dollars to NPR in order to help spread Sharia Law into the United States of America. These NPR Executives has no problem with that.

This is why we need to Defund NPR.

(The Video also points out that they feel they can survive quite well without Federal Funding)

Both Parties Suck!!!

I am so ashamed to be a Republican right now. Today the Senate rejected both Spending measures from the Democrats and Republicans. The Democrat Bill would cut a measly 6 Billion while the Republican bill would cut a whooping 60 Billion dollars. That sounds pretty impressive doesn't it?

The brave Republicans who mustered enough courage to come up with $60,000,000,000.00 should pat themselves on the back right?

60 Billion is .004% of the national debt. Consider a household income of $100,000.00 with a Debt load of $500,000.00. The debt load is 5 times the amount of income. The Federal Government Cutting 60 Billion dollars is like this 100K household cutting it's spending by $2000 or little more than $150 month.

Consider for a moment that Democrats were able to hide 105 Billion Dollars of funding for ObamaCare that the Heritage Foundation didn't even find until a year later. THEY WERE ABLE TO HIDE $105,000,000,000.00 and all the brave Republicans were able to come up with is 60 Billion.

When will these people understand we're serious. Start Cutting!!!

Mike

Jesse Jackson Jr. explains how to fix the U.S. Constitution with Broken Windows

This is the soundbite I've been waiting for.

I've been arguing against Obamacare with every leftist who dares to try and convince me for over a year now. Each time I raise the same point. Why is it that the Government should provide a service, why is it that Health Care is all of sudden a right, why stop there, why stop with Health Care? Shouldn't we all be entitled to a home and a car, maybe a computer with high speed internet access. Usually these leftist are too intelligent to agree with me. They quickly back away. "No, No, that's not the same thing", they say. "Health Care is different.", they say. "Health Care is a right everyone should have health care", they say.

At this point I usually ask why is it different, if health care is right now how long will it be until a car is right, a home, a computer? There is never a good answer to this question. Well now there is a good answer, the answer is NOW. Here we have Jesse Jackson Jr. on the floor of the House, calling for a change to the United States Constitution as the only solution to our nations problems. The change he suggests we need to make of course is Broken Windows.

Illinois legislation on Sex and Guns

Here are two upcoming pieces of legislation you should be be aware of.

First, The AP has filed a FOIA request to obtain all the names of FOID holders in the state of Illinois. This means the Press (The Liberal Media) wants to know the name of every single gun owner in the state of IL. Once they have this, they would be able to publish at will any or all of this information. The IL State police police are currently fighting this, but Lisa Madigan has issued an order to release the information.

IL House Bill 7 will attempt to prevent this action. Below are links to stories about the legislation as well as a link to the actual piece of legislation itself.

The Story

The Legislation

Next, the State of Illinois wants your children to only have access to the liberal version of sex education which includes Condom training in Grade School. This is not a recommendation, this legislation would make it illegal for any public school teacher to use material not allowed by the State. This would of course limit all childrens access to abstinence programs.

IFI Story

The Legislation

I urge you to call you State Senators and Representatives on these.

Mike

Present Day America if Colonial America was like Present Day.

What would present day America be like if colonial America was like Present Day America? This is something I've found myself thinking about more and more lately. It almost seems like people today are more concerned with everything else than their own freedom. They act as if freedom is a given, not something requiring a fight or even taking a stand. What would our life be like if the founding fathers felt this way back in the 1700's?

So George Whitfield realizes that many people feel dead inside. Some folks get together and suggest George should use his connection with the people of the colonies to speak out. George decides this would not be politically correct. The Church of England would not like him speaking out against them and besides some people might get uncomfortable if he were to speak about religion publicly, especially if he were to mix in any politics. George instead decides to keep his feeling to himself in stead of stirring anything up.

Samuel Adams decides not get involved in the Revolution for Liberty because the King in order to silence him, has already used his power to destroy the Adams homestead. Tyranny is everywhere but Adams decides it's not worth the cost, he has already suffered incredible personal expense and loss, so he submits to those in power and promises never to speak out again.

Benjamin Franklin is awfully busy working on many inventions. Several Colonist attempt to persuade Franklin to get involved. He instead decides that he must focus on his career right now, he doesn't have time to fight against a tyranny that is starring him in the face. He believes things cannot get that bad, someone else will certainly right the ship sooner or later.

Robert Morris had several huge business projects he was working on, so he could not withstand the interruption to his projects that a war would certainly bring. Also, he was concerned what his fellow consumers might think of him if he were to get involved with all that nonsense against the King of England, that might be bad for business. George Washington could not leave his farm unattended for too long so leading an Army was obviously out of the question.

What do you think America would be like today?

Cheers,

Mike

The truth on Obama Care

So the Politico has an article today that points out the cost disparity between the fine for not purchasing Health Insurance versus the cost of purchasing an actual Health Insurance plan. The article actually points this out like they are the first one to discover this flaw, never mind all of us who were screaming this at the top of our lungs before they passed it last year. I guess it turns out we actually knew what we were talking about after all.

Sarah Palin was ruthlessly attacked for her use of the term "Death Panels". This was crazy nonsense right? Then we learned about the "End of Life" counseling that the legislation calls for and people were outraged. So they removed it, right? Now, we learn the same stipulation has been added back in during the regulation phase. Should we be surprised? How about all of us who spoke out about rationing? The Washington Post recently reported that Young People will get the best organs.

The number of companies so far given an exemption is now over 900!!!

One last point to consider. The FDA has recommended that breast cancer use be removed from the cancer drug Avastin. This drug has shown serious results to some late term breast cancer patients. Many doctors, medical associations as well as the Susan G. Koman for the cure organization all still support the use of this drug but the FDA has pulled it's support. Why? The answer whether they will admit it or not, is Cost. If the FDA will not allow you to have access to a drug before the full implementation of Obamacare, do you think you'll have access to life extending drugs after it's full implementation?

This Giant piece of legislation known as Obama Care is not about Health Care, it's about implementing a system. If it's not obvious to you by now it may never be.

Cheers,

Mike
