The Second amendment is one of our lifelines as citizens. It's not simply about hunting or home defense. It's about protecting our ourselves and our nation from all enemies foreign and DOMESTIC. "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government,” It’s about being able to protect our selves from not only the robber in the night but a corrupt and unjust government. So does the Government get to have assault weapons? If the answer is yes, do so shall we as citizens (Not Subjects) be able to have assault weapons.
