Ron Paul, Justin Amash and Paul Broun of GA are the only three who voted against HR347
HR347 which Passed Monday essentially makes into the law the ability of the Federal Government to prevent protests of any kind in the presence of the President, the VP and anyone them deem worthy of SS protection. Want to hold a protest rally against the POTUS, guess what, you can now be sent to jail for 10 years.
Have a nice day.
Cheers,
Mike

This is a sad statement on the state of affairs of this (once great and powerful) nation. I say once because it can no longer be great if we turn our backs on the very principles that this country was founded.
ReplyDeleteSolution... Vote all who voted to pass this bill, out of office!
ReplyDeleteHey Mike, your blog was in the top four search results on yahoo for hr 347.
ReplyDeleteChevy.
Wow, I had no idea, nice
Deletereposted your above comment to my facebook. thanks
ReplyDeleteThis is bull crap. Our nation was founded on freedom of assembly and freedom of petition of our government.
ReplyDeleteThis was the founding fathers 1st amendment. It was that important to them. What is going on. This needs to go to the Supreme Court and be struck down as unconstitutional.
This is another reason why our founders had 3 separate branches of government to check the other branches so they NEVER overstep their authority.
I agree with the idea that this is definitely unconstitutional and all those who voted yea should be ousted when they come up for reelection. Study your history people. Which type governments silence opposition? What tactics do they employ when they try to protest? Some are never heard from again!
ReplyDeleteThis completes the return to the 30's in Germany... And it speaks volumes about the integrity of Ron Paul.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that those who choose to join the "Occupy" marches will be exempt from this law. I already called my representative and made it quite clear that I will not be endorsing her in any future elections. What a disgrace!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a material of un-ambiguity and preserveness of valuable familiarity on the topic of unpredicted feelings.
